2011 AGM
On Thursday 9th June 2011 the KCCA held their Annual General Meeting and Conference at the Hilton Hotel Maidstone, we had a marvelous turn out this year with over 70 members attending and with some superb speakers
This was also a great networking event
Our conference was opened by Peter Lake Deputy Cabinet Member who gave an extremely interesting and witty opening speech
Andrew Saunders KCCA Chair and Britt Grutzmacher KCCA Vice Chair gave a presentation of the way forward for providers in Kent in these continuing difficult time.
Gina Walton and the Royal Bank of Scotland joined us to discuss Kent Card and how providers can maximize business
We had presentations from Dave Collins from Advanced computer Software and Uta Critchley and Mark Salisbury on the Olympics Resilience Planning, we were also joined by Anna Tidmarsh who discussed Teletechnology in Kent...the journey
The KCCA were also honored to be asked to present the awards for the completion of the KCC Apprenticeship Scheme that members have supported
We were also extremely lucky to have Helen Buckingham who is the Deputy Chief Executive for the newly formed Kent and Medway PCT Cluster talk to members on the Liberation of the NHS and how providers can work with health in the coming years.
Finally we were extremely lucky to have Katherine Kerswell the Group Managing Director for Kent County Council join us to discuss Partnership Opportunities of Success, this was a great presentation and received well by all attendees
Overall the day was a great success and really promoted the goal of the day which was “working in partnership” and we look forward to next years event
