High Quality Home Care Through Professionalism, Unity & Strength
The sharing of advice & expertise
The Kent Community Care Association (KCCA) was founded in 1998 by a group of like-minded independent domiciliary providers, across the country, who saw the advantages of working together to improve standards for both Service Users and Care Workers. It also aimed to improve the discussion of common issues and to share advice, experience and expertise.
High standards
Our aim was not only to set high standards but also to develop strong partnerships with our local commissioners, primarily Kent County Council and the Primary Care Trusts.
Training & communication
We aim to influence Legislation, standardise training and keep communication links with the general public to improve the image of community care services and keep them informed of our role in the local communities.
We deliver 75% of home care
Kent County Council commission 80% of home care to private and charitable providers, of which in excess of 75% is delivered by our members.
Strong & successful
The KCCA has proved to be a very strong and successful association and will continue to support both Service Users and Providers in the future.
Joining the KCCA
The KCCA work hard on behalf of the majority of domiciliary care providers in Kent and have established a good working partnership with KCC. The area forums meet every three months to discuss and share common issues, and your forum chair would be happy to discuss any questions you may have.
