Brigitte Grutzmacher - Vice Chair

Brigitte Grutzmacher has been the Manager of Tender Loving Carers Domiciliary Limited since 1999 and became the Registered Manager in 2002.

She has a very varied role within the company which includes the usual daily management of the company, as well as running the in-house Health and Safety Training for TLC’s care staff.

Brigitte came to the business via the family route, it is owned by her mother. Prior to working in the care industry Brigitte worked in the finance industry. The combination of the passion from her mother about the family owned business and her previous experience in finance have moulded to make her role one she is passionate about today.

Brigitte has reinforced her belief of the care sector with multiple and various training courses, which include, NVQ level 4 RMA, NVQ 3 in Administration, Train the Trainer in Health and Safety, NEBOSH Qualified (HSE) and other courses which have been arranged through companies such as Business Link.

Brigitte became an East Kent Director for KCCA two years ago. In this role she has taken the lead on Training and is part of the KCCA Website & Marketing Group. Brigitte thoroughly enjoys attending the variety of meetings she has been asked to attend in her role, such as the ‘Training For Care’ meetings. Brigitte has also been able to attend the ‘Home Care Conference’ on behalf of KCCA.

Brigitte is very lucky to have an excellent team at Tender Loving Carers and so taking time to attend all the meetings required as a Director of the KCCA has not proved to be a problem. Brigitte feels she has been very lucky to be able to contribute to improvements and changes within the care sector in Kent and would love to be able to continue to do so. Brigitte is also the Vice Chair of the KCCA
