Direct Payments

What are they and how do they affect you? Direct Payments can be used instead of Social Services arranging community support or other services that you have been assessed as needing. Everyone will be offered this option after their assessment, A Direct Payment is cash that Social Services can give you as an alternative to arranging services for you.
